i realised recently that i haven't posted any photos from london in over 4 months, and in fact i haven't taken any photos in london over the past 4 months. i can't even recall the last time i left my house with my camera, apart from when i was on the way to an airport. i think that would make sense if i only took pictures of pretty landscapes or exotic animals, but i also enjoy street photography and cityscapes. and yet for whatever reason i don't do it that much in my hometown. i guess it follows that if i go on holiday to somewhere like new york i'll walk around with my camera a lot more than if i'm just going to the local shops or commuting to work. but when i first started this blog i used to take my camera with me everywhere i went and there was an overwhelming uk bias as that's where i spent most of my time. anyway i hope to redress the balance and try and take some more local pictures in the second half of 2015. this shot is from one of the last times i had my camera out in the capital, part of a juilo le parc exhibition in the serpentine gallery.
