stay young, go dancing
i've written before about how fond i was of the people of madagascar. they were really friendly and always greeted me with a salama (hello) and a smile. more than that though i liked how they seemed genuinely happy within themselves. they interacted with each other with a kindness and affection which was really heartwarming. we stopped for a roadside breakfast after a misty morning when i heard the faint sound of music. this was the scene i discovered after following my ear, a group of kids carefree and dancing. the happiness was infectious and it was such a joyous way to start the day.
