up in the attic
i just returned from another work trip to cape town, my fifth in five years. it appears as though it’s become a tradition of mine to post an early morning photo from my trip. it started with a hike up lions head, followed by a lake in stellenbosch, sunrise from table mountain and then last year a shipyard outside the city aquarium. we were due to witness the sunrise from table mountain again this year, but it was cancelled the day before due to forecasted high winds rendering the cable car unsafe. i awoke that morning to see an amazing, windless sunrise from my balcony instead. so in lieu of another picture from one of my favourite mountains, here’s a shot facing towards it from the morning before, when i was atop the silo hotel.
