when i flew into bulowayo in zimbabwe they asked me what visa i wanted, whether it was a single entry or a double entry. i knew i didn't have long in the country, and i was essentially just going to victoria falls so the cheaper, single entry seemed perfectly fine. once i got there i realised that despite my limited time there, the waterfalls don't take days to explore, so i had a bit more time on my hands. the place that i was staying had other trips in the local area, and one was to chobe national park. i then remembered that a friend of a friend had told me about that a few days before as a place i could see swimming elephants. what didn't cross my mind significantly enough was that chobe is in botswana, and if i was to return to zimbabwe after that it would count as an additional entry. i was annoyed with myself for the unnecessary extra expense, but the $55 i had to pay for my second single entry visa in the space in 3 days was worth it to see this dude going for a dip.
