i will be your light
i mentioned in my last post that i've had a busy few weeks. after i came back from scotland in january i went from starting some freelance work, to having a couple of job interviews, to then getting a permanent job, all within a two week period. the new work is similar stuff to what i was doing freelancing, with the added bonus of some travel thrown in. if that wasn't enough my primary job while i'm abroad with work will be to take photos and video. if you've taken only a passing interest in this website it won't come as a surprise that travel and photography, well that's kinda my thing. it's still early days, but just based on what i know so far it seems like it's 5% my dream job and 95% a job at which i'm very familiar and experienced, in my mind that's a pretty good ratio. on the downside i have to get up early in the morning, it's a fairly long commute and i can't turn up to work in my dressing gown - so y'know swings and roundabouts. this photo was taken at a julio le parc exhibition in the serpentine gallery in hyde park, which some of my new colleagues recommended.
