three wise men
it's strange how you can find beauty and ugliness in the same person. billy corgan has a reputation as a very difficult person. he comes across as very controlling, arrogant, bitter man. the day before i saw the smashing pumpkins in manchester he had stormed off stage after only playing two thirds of their set. a few days before that he ranted at the crowd in scotland, after they booed him talking about manchester he declared "last i remember there was no fucking joy division coming from glasgow". Actually that was kinda funny. but despite his unappealing traits when he opens his mouth and starts singing to sheila it just melts your heart. i think he really is an extremely talented genius. who's also a bit of an arse.
