i had seen the mars volta once before, quite a while ago, and whilst i enjoyed it they played a lot of songs i wasn't too familiar with - so i couldn't get into that much. this time around the setlist was close to perfect - i think the only song they didn't play which would have made my night was televators, but everything else was a mixture of songs from their newest album, and then my favourite songs from their back catalogue.
