the lowest branch of the apple tree
this apple tree was outside the kitchen window of a rather fancy cottage i stayed in a couple of weekends ago with some mates. i saw this while washing up and thought it must have been fake, it looked like someone had tied a red ball to a bare tree. after going outside for a closer look i can confirm that it was indeed the last apple on the apple tree. how about that. incidentally this very wintry looking tree was taken a few hours before this very autumny looking shot. just so you know. do what you will with that information.
